Get started

Connect GitHub

Install Jina safely and understand repository access, callbacks, and organization ownership.

Install the GitHub App

  1. In the dashboard, select the Jina organization that should own the connection.
  2. Open Configure → Integrations and choose Add GitHub organization.
  3. On GitHub, select the account and grant access to all repositories or an explicit repository list.
  4. Return to Integrations and confirm the organization and repositories are visible.

Repository access

  • Selected repositories can send pull-request webhooks and be cloned by the review worker.
  • Changing the repository selection in GitHub updates what Jina can review.
  • Removing the installation stops new webhook-driven reviews; existing review records remain in the owning Jina organization.

If an organization is missing

Verify you are a GitHub organization owner or have permission to install GitHub Apps. Organizations with OAuth restrictions may require approval from an owner.

Do not repeatedly reconnect if an active installation already exists. Refresh Integrations first and confirm you selected the expected Jina organization.
